OK... and here we have it... a story for the ages...
It began with me having this ridiculous idea of making my coffee table, which had been an old speaker box (which you will see in later pages) and converting it to a house wrecking machine. The speaker of choice here was the Cerwin Vega Vega series 12" DVC (dual voice coil) as I had these laying around. The 3 subs were to be run in a series-parallel setup to make a nice theoretical 2 ohm load for my coffee table.
All of this panned out well. I had successfully converted the old box into a new one and sealed it to the Nth degree... I had decided to set the speakers in place and real quick run to the store. I had not even tightened the screws yet, that may have been what I went to the store for actually.
