As can be plainly seen, the immaculate beauty and extraneous details given to a church only complicates its function. Both of these churches perform the same basic function, educating its parishioners, but does so in two entirely different fashions. St. Luke’s keeps a simple modest beauty to simplify its regular procedure. Whereas the intricacies of St. Anthony’s complicates its basic function by necessitating specialized tasks and other business holdings to simply support itself. St. Anthony’s just so happens to host the second largest Italian festival in the United States; however, without the funds from that festival, neither the school or the church could exist. St. Luke’s, on the contrary, only needs the donations given by parishioners, instead of the millions of dollars generated by businesses within a business, thus simplifying the business aspect allowing whole-hearted concentration on its religious agenda.
